First and foremost....my name probably gave it away but I was born and raised in Ireland and came to the United States in 1993. I am a wife for over 23 years and a mother to 2 young men who I love more than life itself but who
can also give me a run for my money! I am an experienced psychotherapist who enjoys working with individual clients and I maintain a private practice in Carmel, NY and Ridgefield, CT. I graduated with my masters degree in social
work from New York University (NYU) in 2007. I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are drug & alcohol addiction and recovery, mental health issues,
life transitions, issues of motherhood, LGBTQIA issues among others . I have many years of experience working in the field of addiction and recovery which at times encompasses many of these other issues. For most people I believe
that the use of drugs and or alcohol are a symptom of underlying issues that I am experienced and privileged to walk through with you.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to
each client in a comfortable and confidential setting. With compassion, empathy and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
